Kirkland, WA – Bocada LLC, an award-winning backup monitoring automation solution, has announced the release of its ServiceNow ticketing integration. Organizations currently using ServiceNow for ticketing, or actively considering its usage, now have an automated way to open and monitor the status of tickets associated with backup job and storage performance issues.

With the latest release, Bocada administrators can create rules to automate ticket creation for incidents that need further attention. In doing so, Bocada removes the historically necessary but time consuming task of manually identifying backup issues and creating support tickets one by one. Additionally, a new report is now available within Bocada that lets administrators easily stay apprised of updates made within ServiceNow including ticket assignment, state, urgency, severity, and resolution. The ticketing automation feature adds to the existing CMDB comparison toolset to give ServiceNow customers more ways to scale their monitoring operations without additional headcount.
