Bocada collects information in two ways:
Information you voluntarily give us: We collect information from you when you directly contact Bocada via email or our websites. This information includes personal information like your name, email address, telephone number or credit card.
Information we collect through your use of our products and services. We collect information about the products and services that you use and how you use them, like which reports you use, pages you visit on our website, your use of third-party websites that are part of our services, and information you provide us with through third party systems such as Hubspot and ServiceNow. This information includes:
We collect device-specific information, including device type (such as smartphone, tablet, computer), operating system, screen resolution and similar information. These details help us adapt the user experience for different devices, ensuring effective navigation. We may associate device identifiers or phone number with your Bocada user account.
We use data analytics tools, like Google Analytics, to improve your experience on our platform. This involves collecting data such as browser type, pages viewed and general location. This information is anonymous and helps us understand usage patterns for continuous improvement. By accessing our platform, you consent to the collection of this data by Google Analytics or other analytics tools for these purposes. Your personally information is not identifiable through this data.
Event Logs & IP Addresses
When you use Bocada products and services, we may automatically generate, collect and store event logs and server information. This includes: (i) details of how you use our products and services, such as which reports and pages you view; (ii) IP addresses; (iii) device event information such as system activity, settings, errors or crashes, browser configurations etc; and (iv) cookies that uniquely identify your Bocada account.
When you use Bocada products and services, we may collect and process information about your actual physical location using IP address, or the information you provide in your account.
Data stored in third-party applications
Using account credentials you provide in our products, the Bocada system accesses third party services and data, including backup and storage applications and ITIL platforms. We collect and store data from these services and accounts as a core feature of our products. We associate the data from these third-party services with your Bocada account.
Bocada’s Use of Information
The information we collect from our products and services is used to provide services, maintain and improve the products and to protect the Bocada systems, customers and users. Your data is also used to automate your operational activities and to prepare reports in accordance with the features of our products.
We will use your email address and mobile number for both operational and marketing communications. These communications may come in the form of alerts or as solicitations depending on the nature of the communication and the preferences you have set up.
When you contact our customer service or sales teams, we will keep a record of your communication. We will use your email address to respond to inquiries and to inform you about changes or updates to our products and services.
We use information collected from cookies to improve the user experience.
We track your usage to provide you personally relevant product features, such as tailored product offerings and advertising.
Bocada processes personal information using public cloud providers throughout the world and may process personal information on a cloud-based server outside the country where you live.

We take precautions to protect your information. When you provide sensitive information to Bocada, your information is protected both online and offline.
Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in environments designed to be secure.
We do not share personal information with entities outside of Bocada unless one of the following circumstances applies:

If your Bocada account is administered by somebody else (for example, an employer) then your administrator may request and will have access to your Bocada account information.

We may share aggregated, non-personally identifiable information publicly. For example, we may share information publicly to show trends in our industry and the use of our products and services.
