Featuring CPM and MS SQL Backup Reporting

The following features and enhancements are now available with the release of Bocada 19.7.11

New Features

CPM (N2WS Backup and Recovery) Reporting

Expanded visibility into data protection within AWS to include resources protected by CPM (Cloud Protection Manager), including Amazon EC2, Amazon EBS, Amazon RDS, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Aurora, and Amazon DynamoDB.

Microsoft SQL Server Backup Reporting

Added reporting of backups configured and performed natively by the SQL server.

Veeam Storage Reporting

Added reporting of Veeam attached storage providing visibility and insights with data trends, storage forecasting, and storage alerting.

Data Domain File Age and Size Report

Added a Data Domain report that shows files on the appliance broken out by age or size. The file age view identifies space that can potentially be reclaimed to prevent overutilization with expired data. The file size perspective identifies large, potentially non-critical backups that can be expired to provide more room for more critical backups.

Enhancements

NetApp

Improved reporting for the latest versions of NetApp, providing clearer visibility into the volume mirrors and overall protection of clustered ONTAP systems.

Simplified Navigation

Simplified the general navigation section within Bocada providing simpler recognition and discovery of reports, functionality and clearer configuration and management workflows.

Streamlined Criteria Builder for Backup Activity

Improved workflow for criteria selection in Job Activity report for Backup Activity.

Automated Upgrade and Installer Redesign

Redesigned the Bocada Installer to automate upgrades and simplify clean installs with a single unified approach.
