Organizations using BMC Helix for ticketing will have an automated way to open and monitor tickets associated with backup job failures, consecutive failures, and storage performance.

With Bocada’s BMC Helix ticketing integration, administrators can create rules to automate ticket creation for incidents that need further attention. Bocada will automatically create tickets with relevant information, including backup error messages, assignment groups, and affected assets, giving administrators the information they need in-hand to resolve failure issues. Further, incidents are dynamically updated in the event of subsequent failures to avoid redundant tickets. Through Bocada’s dashboard, administrators can stay apprised of updates made within BMC Helix including team member assignment, ticket state and urgency, and resolution status.
