Bocada Adds Support for Dell PowerProtect Cloud Snapshot Manager

The Bocada Team | May 28, 2024

Seattle, WA – Bocada LLC, an award-winning IT automation company, has announced a new connector for Dell PowerProtect Cloud Snapshot Manager.

Bocada’s newest connector enables Bocada customers to monitor and report on their cloud snapshot activity and policy configurations alongside reporting from dozens of other data protection products Bocada already supports. Bocada collects snapshot metadata directly from PowerProtect Cloud Snapshot Manager, allowing customers to automate reporting, alerting, and ITSM ticketing.

PowerProtect Cloud Snapshot Manager is used to discover, orchestrate, and automate the protection of AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform workloads via tag-based snapshot policies.

“IT leaders today continue to use many different tools to help protect against data loss,” said Matt Hall, CEO of Bocada. “Whether a Bocada customer only uses traditional backup software or also layers on disaster recovery (DR) tools and cloud snapshot products like Dell PowerProtect Cloud Snapshot Manager, they can rest assured they’ve got a future-proof monitoring solution in Bocada.”

The new PowerProtect Cloud Snapshot Manager connector is available immediately to Bocada Enterprise customers using version 24.2.05 and is also available in Bocada Cloud, Bocada’s SaaS edition.
