Featuring Azure Backup Reporting & Data Protector 10.0 Plugin
Kirkland, WA – Bocada LLC, an award-winning backup reporting and monitoring solution has announced the general availability of version 10.6. In addition to several enhancements to the product’s core features, the release also includes reporting on Azure Backup, updated data collection to support Data Protector 10, and the addition of NetWorker Policy Directive Descriptions.

Key new capabilities in this release include:
Azure Backup Server Plugin Bocada now supports reporting on Azure Backup Server, offering customers using Azure Backup Server the same breadth of reporting under a single-pane that they currently enjoy with 16 other backup software products, including detailed information about backup job successes and failures, storage capacity trends, and SLA compliance.
Data Protector 10 Plugin Security upgrades were made in Data Protector 10.0 that impacted the way the Bocada plugin communicated with cell managers. Our updated plugin ensures full reporting capabilities for anyone upgrading to 10.0x while providing backwards compatibility with earlier Data Protector versions.
NetWorker Policy Description Additions Now available in NetWorker reporting is the Policy Directive Description, in addition to the previously available Directive Name. The inclusion of Directive Descriptions will make it easier to review if Directives are following correct backup processes by giving admins more clarity into the Directive’s desired intent.
Product Enhancements A variety of improvements have been made to the core product including reporting accuracy on largest clients and largest servers, zone cardinality rule creation, and date range constraints when reporting on servers across multiple time zones.
Plugin Enhancements To continue supporting a broad spectrum of data backup providers, we’ve made several backup server plugin updates covering Arcserve, Avamar, CommVault, Data Domain, NetBackup, NetWorker, Spectrum Protect (TSM), and Veeam.
