Organizations porting storage capacity data into Bocada will now have an automated way to stay ahead of storage usage issues that lead to large-scale backup failure events or unanticipated investments in incremental storage devices.
Through Bocada’s native storage application integration or backup server data collection, automated, details on total storage capacity and real-time storage usage are automatically collected. When user-defined storage usage percentage thresholds are met, users will receive an automated alert. Additionally, users can trigger automated ticket creation with alert details to hasten the speed with which capacity issues get addressed. This streamlined, automated flow affords users the opportunity to review storage usage and develop revised backup policies or storage retention protocols to mitigate hitting storage limits.
