Our latest Bocada Cloud update brings you a wealth of new features and functionality. Here’s a quick roundup to take you through a few of the highlights that are now live in Bocada Cloud as of November 17, 2025.
🔍 1. Expanded Unprotected Resource Audit (Hyper-v, Proxmox, Nutanix, and more) — Instantly Expose Unprotected Resources
Available on Pro & Ultimate plans
You can now connect your CMDB or inventory system directly into Bocada Cloud to automatically surface Unprotected Resources—systems, workloads, or endpoints that aren’t currently being backed up. (Bocada Cloud already supports AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and VMware vCenter as inventory sources; this new inventory connector adds support for additional inventory sources.)
Out of the box, this new connector supports:
- ServiceNow (REST API)
- Microsoft SQL Server
- CSV uploads (local file system or HTTP)
- Custom sources via ODBC

Connecting your inventory sources to Bocada Cloud enables the Resource Audit report to show you unprotected resources in your environment — those that either don’t have a backup policy or haven’t had any backup attempts or successful backups.
📬 2. Veeam Data Cloud for M365 Connector — Now Supported Across All Plans
Whether you’re protecting email, OneDrive, SharePoint, or Teams data via Veeam Data Cloud for M365, Bocada Cloud now has you covered.
Our new connector collects backup status via email parsing, allowing you to centralize monitoring, reporting, and compliance evidence in one place—alongside all your other backup systems.

📚 3. Backup History Report — Go Back Years, Not Just Days
Having access to long-term backup data is crucial for audits, compliance checks, and deep forensic analysis. Bocada Cloud’s new Backup History report brings that power to your fingertips.
You define:
- Date ranges
- Columns
- Grouping
- Sorting
- Filtering
If your report starts earlier than 90 days ago, Bocada will automatically export the results to Excel for download.
Plan-based historical access includes:
- Pro: up to 1 year of past backup data
- Ultimate: up to 10 years (one year at a time)

⏱️ 4. In-Progress Jobs Report + Smart Notifications

Long-running backup jobs can indicate bottlenecks, failures, or infrastructure issues. The new In-Progress Jobs report gives you instant visibility into jobs that are taking longer than usual.

You can now create custom email alerts to notify you when a job exceeds your defined duration threshold (e.g., more than X minutes or hours).
It’s proactive monitoring that keeps you ahead of issues—before they become failures.

🎨 5. Professional & Self-Branded HTML Reports for Your Customers — Cleaner, Faster, More Interactive
This release includes significant improvements to the HTML export of the Job Activity report:

- Searchable like a live report
This makes distributed reports easier for teams—especially auditors, compliance managers, or stakeholders who don’t have direct Bocada Cloud access. Additional report formats will receive similar enhancements in future updates.
