New Features

Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud: Backup Media Reporting Bocada Enterprise now collects repository capacity and utilization data from Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud environments, adding visibility into Acronis backup media usage alongside existing job activity reporting.

Datto: Backup Media Reporting Bocada Enterprise now collects repository capacity and utilization data from Datto SaaS environments, adding visibility into Datto backup media usage alongside existing job activity reporting.

Enhancements

Connectors

  • Commvault: Improved Copy Job collection performance for reduced collection duration in environments with high Copy Job volumes.
  • NetBackup: Improved handling of environments renamed from Veritas to Cohesity so that resource names resolve correctly following the vendor transition.
  • IBM Storage Protect (TSM): Improved lookback handling for more accurate historical activity retrieval.
  • PowerProtect Data Manager: Added a configurable option for selecting the version. Existing connections continue using their previously configured API behavior the setting is reconfigured.
  • Veeam Backup & Replication: Multiple reporting improvements, including cluster-level and policy-specific compliance results, refined Backup Copy job reporting, and improved Resource Audit classification.

Inventory Audit Reporting

  • Manual inventory mappings are now preserved across collections and connector updates, so administrator-applied resource associations remain in place between runs.
  • Added a Backup Alt Name column (used for automated resource mapping) to reports for surfacing alternate client identifiers alongside primary names.

Administration & Installer

  • Database Configuration: Clarified database-setting labels in the installer to make configuration more intuitive.
  • RDC Deployment: The Remote Data Collector can now be deployed across different drives, providing additional flexibility in target environments.
  • Installer Cleanup: Obsolete RDC packages are now cleaned up automatically during upgrade.
  • Disaster Recovery & Zerto: Disaster Recovery and Zerto entitlement configuration have been moved to the Audit module, continuing the module consolidation begun in 26.2.07.

Reporting REST API

  • The Bocada Reporting REST API now supports operation when Bocada services are running under the Local System account option.

System Maintenance

  • Improved snapshot-file cleanup to reduce disk usage over time.

Deprecations and Removals

AWS and Azure Backup Media Collection: Deprecated Backup Media collection has been removed from the AWS and Azure connectors. Customers relying on Backup Media data from these connectors should transition to standard Storage collection and reporting. Please contact Bocada Support with questions or concerns.
