Thank you for being a Bocada Enterprise customer. We appreciate your patronage and longtime support. As you will note from our web promotion, Bocada is no longer actively marketing the Bocada Enterprise solution. At Bocada, we strive for excellent customer satisfaction and we want to assure our current customers that we will continue to support Bocada Enterprise.
In March of 2010, we introduced our next generation Data Protection Service Management solution, Bocada Prism, and all future product enhancements will be made to the Prism platform and its advanced modules.
As we continue to enhance Prism to meet data protection service management needs, our goal is to migrate all existing customers to the Prism DPSM solution. Migration services are available for all existing customers.

What is the difference between Bocada Prism and Bocada Enterprise?
Bocada Prism is the next generation solution for the Data Protection Service Management market. Bocada Enterprise has been on the market for ten years and has a very substantial installed base. Bocada Prism leverages the same market leading scalable data collection engine and open database that is in Bocada Enterprise, however, Bocada Prism is focused on service delivery management. Based on your feedback and our observations over the years of how our customers used Bocada Enterprise, Bocada Prism was designed with a built in workflow, intelligent SLA impact analysis, policy change analysis and a knowledge base data base. Unlike Bocada Enterprise, Bocada Prism has a completely web based front end and new APIs which better enable integration with third party solutions (such as trouble ticketing applications).

Does Bocada Prism replace Bocada Enterprise?
Bocada Prism is our next generation DPSM solution. While we understand that many users are very familiar with the wide variety of reports and the look and feel of Bocada Enterprise, it is our intent to phase out Bocada Enterprise in the future. We have been successfully migrating customers to Prism so they can take advantage of all of the new DPSM features and the web based interface. For more information on migrations please see the Migration data sheet in our Resources page.
For our customers that prefer to continue to use Bocada Enterprise, please note that the intent is to phase out the Bocada Enterprise solution in the future. Bocada will continue to support all existing customers that are current on maintenance for eighteen months after an end of life announcement. There is no scheduled end of life announcement at this time and we will keep all customers informed of any changes.
