Enters Marketing Partnership, Joins ca smart Program And Works To Identify CA Resellers As DPM P2ETM Certified Partners
Bellevue, WA, July 23, 2007 - Bocada, Inc., the leading provider of data protection management software, today announced a strategic marketing partnership with CA. Bocada has joined the ca smart partner program and its Bocada Enterprise has been certified as ca smart with CA ARCServe® backup. Bocada and CA will work together to enable a select group of CA resellers to earn the Bocada Data Protection Management (DPM) Path To Excellence (P2E) partner certification distinction which recognizes partners for their ability to provide products and services that help customers achieve operational excellence in enterprise data protection and management.
The Bocada Enterprise solution’s advanced data storage reporting and analytics complement CA’s Recovery Management solution portfolio. As such, Bocada Enterprise will be marketed as the preferred data protection management software partner for the CA ARCServe Backup product line. Combined, the solutions help customers ensure data recovery, reduce overall data protection costs, and identify areas of risk which can be addressed through improvements in CA Recovery Management.

program recognizes information services management companies that
demonstrate DPM P2E enterprise-ready knowledge, customer service,
and delivery in support of the Bocada platform. Bocada and CA will
collaborate to develop a reseller network empowered to deliver customers
a more comprehensive set of data protection services on top of the
Bocada DPM P2E framework.
