Bocada Taps High-Tech Veterans for Key Executive Positions
Bellevue, WA - December 7, 2004 - Bocada, Inc., the leading provider of software for data protection performance management, today announced that Michael Bauer has been hired as Vice President of Global Partner and Channel Sales and Henry Albrecht has been promoted to Vice President of Product Management.

As head of Strategic Partnerships, Bauer will work with the growing roster of leading managed services, outsourcing, and reseller partners relying on Bocada. He joins Bocada with more than 20 years of experience in high technology businesses, including senior leadership roles in channel, OEM, business development and sales. Previously Bauer was regional northwest manager for Epiphany Software. Prior to Epiphany, Michael spent over 10 years driving domestic corporate and international channel sales for Mosaix, Inc., now a division of Avaya, Inc.
As Vice President of Product Management, Albrecht and his team will work closely with existing customers, prospects and development teams to extend the market leadership of Bocada, including the company's award-winning BackupReport software. Albrecht has extensive experience in high technology product management. Prior to joining Bocada, Albrecht served in senior product and business management roles in the QuickBooks line at Intuit.
