BocadaTM Appoints Steve Hamerslag to the Board of Directors
Bellevue, WA - October 12, 2001 - Bocada Inc., the only cross-vendor storage backup reporting, analysis and billing solution, today announced the addition of Steven J. Hamerslag to the company's board of directors. Hamerslag is a 25-year veteran of the technology industry, with much of his career spent in senior executive positions at data storage companies.
Hamerslag brings business and storage expertise to Bocada's board of directors, based on his position as founder and CEO of MTI Technologies for 11 years and his role as senior vice president of sales for Systems Industries for 9 years. As CEO of MTI Technologies, he grew the company's revenues from $2.5 million to more than $80 million in less than four years. As Senior Vice President Sales at System Industries, Steve grew revenues to more than $140 million and managed a team of more than 100 field sales executives. Hamerslag joins Pete Higgins, a former Microsoft senior executive, and Jim Thornton, a former Aldus senior executive, each with more than 20 years of experience with technology and software companies.
